You are Not Free

That hurts the most. Realizing you’re not actually free. When you find the limits of your fenced in paddock, and get that zap that brings you back to reality. You can’t do everything.

You can’t do what matters most, or what you want most. But you can do what you want.

Instead of leg of lamb, you settle for a quesadilla. You still like quesadilla, but it’s not the same. It’s still a good life. A life to be proud of.

But it’s not the ideal life. Has it ever been?

There is always something missing. There will always be something missing.

That’s what I feel like.

You reach the one goal and you realize there is something it doesn’t have. OR you don’t reach the goal and realize you have to change directions and start heading for a different peak.

Dissappointment.
