What kind of bodies do you want?
Volunteer organizations have to determine what kinds of members they want. Anyone can donate money, but signing up to be a member should be different. Shouldn’t it?
It should say something, and mean more. Signing up anyone with a pulse should not be the goal. You want other people who feel as strongly about your cause as you(You do feel strongly… right?).
You don’t want people to join because of the tax break. You don’t want people to join because they want your raffle prize.
You want people who will champion your cause, help out when needed, and most importantly, have a good answer for ‘what does your organization do.’
You don’t need bodies. You need members.
