I believe in you and it doesn’t mean squat.
You don’t believe in yourself. You don’t see yourself as what you could be. Rather you see yourself as what you are. And you act as if you are the image in your head. You think of where you came from and what you’ve been through. You have plenty of failures to pull from and remind yourself you are no good. It’s pointless trying.
The image you have in your head, that image you think you are, is a mirage. You created that image. You pulled from each experience and began building an image of what thought you were. That image has determined your capability. You remind yourself you aren’t capable of much. The image in your head, the image you created, is what you will always live up to. You will always live up to what you have always been, because that is all you have pulled from.
You created the image. You created what you are now. You continually create it, because that’s how you see yourself. You built it day by day, moment by moment. The image you have created changes. You change it. You shape it. You can continue to see yourself as a failure and you will have more experiences to remind you of that.
Or you can change it, and make each day a success. You can choose to learn from other’s failures, using their images to alter yours. Reading, listening, learning instead of fumbling, falling, and quitting. You will be the same in 5 years if you don’t change that image. You can’t change that image by yourself.
